Welcome!
My name is Emily and  am the director and founder of C.O.H.C.O.

(pronounced cocoa) I also am in charge of planning the outings for moms, and students grades K-6th. ​​

I  am in my second year of homeschooling! So, I guess I'm what you'd call, a newbie!
I created COHCO because when I started my homeschool journey I had no idea even where to begin.

After searching websites, I stumbled upon some local homeschool groups. I then learned about these wonderful gatherings, called co ops!

We signed up to attend one right away! I have attended two separate ones, each very different.

Over time, I have also found many support groups to join.

Something in me though, just said there were even MORE people out there that we were not reaching that still needed support!!

I've always had a knack for leading things, so I created a group called Central Ohio Homeschoolers on Facebook.

​C.O.H.C.O. (Central Ohio Homeschool Co Op)
is for EVERYONE who homeschools regardless of your religious beliefs or no beliefs, your homeschool style, race, age, and parenting style.

​I believe in treating everyone equally and with respect. ​​

Since starting the group over one FB less than a year ago, we have 135 members (and counting) We've done a field trip to Heartland Camp, The Old Mill, and The Works.  We have some very exciting trips coming up this winter and spring.
We have had some wonderful discussions over there and I feel we've helped a lot of families who are just starting the home school process or who maybe just need some extra support!

An actual co op is being planned - where we can meet for classes. Please stay tuned for all the exciting events to come!
